Meet Dr. Chung

Peter Chung, DDS

I am passionate about the people I treat and the quality of dental care I am able to provide. It is a very rewarding feeling to know that I have helped the people in my community improve their lives in such a tangible way. My patients are diverse group of people, and I learn something new from them every day.

I attended Columbia University in New York for my undergraduate studies and completed my Bachelor of Science degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. I stayed there to complete my dental training, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and completed my General Residency at the Cleveland VA Hospital. In order to continue learning about the newest and best treatments and technology, I am active in many professional organizations that provide numerous opportunities to learn, including the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle King County Dental Society.

I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and currently live in Mercer Island with my wife and two teenage sons. When I have leisure time, I enjoy playing tennis and golf, walking, and watching movies. I know that I have been very blessed in this life, and I feel it is my duty to help those who are less fortunate. I belong to the Korean American Calvary Baptist Church and am very involved with community activities there.
